Map World of Anima ~ Commission Piece

Over the past few months I've been working, off and on, on a map commission. It's quite different working to someone else's map concept to working on your own, and I've found the experience useful. Sending work-in-progress notes back and forth to tune fine detail adds another dimension to mapping, rather than just messing about with the map until you are happy yourself.

The map is copyright as is the world design and concept. The names shown on the map are the intellectual property of Allyson Whitney. Please respect these copyrights.

Is this the same Anima that Wen-m over at deviantart is doing artwork for? http://wen-m.deviantart.com/

Edit: Which would be this one: http://animarpg.com/

Nope, it's not. Anima beyond Fantasy has a totally different geography.

The map was from a request posted on the board (World Map Request [Paid, please send me a PM to discuss rates])

The generic style isn't one I tend to go for personally anymore. It was interesting to work with the standard styles again for a bit, rather than my own eclectic mix. I do like the terrain tools that come with the default style. Again, I don't use them too much personally due to the style I want to use.

The name also appealed, matching with my religious tendencies.
