This is a map of the Moonsea region of the Forgotten Realms setting. I used RobA's technique in the tutorial section and gimp 2.6.

Agreed with NeonKnight. It could be that all it needs is a darker green, though. It blends in too well with the land at the moment.
Otherwise a well done map!

My success in getting good colors has been somewhat hit-and-miss. My next try is a map of the High Forest region, so I'll see what kind of greens I can get this time around...
