Hi nice map. I like the shading style on the buildings used to depict the change in elevation.

Was this made by sketching over a googlemap arial photo?

It certainly was, although it's not a one-to-one match with a real-world city. It is strongly based upon the one in the photo, however.

Nice work--especially in the clean lines in opposition to the rest of the map; also I like how you have not made that typical mistake of too perfect, clean lines, so the map feels completely cold.
