Really like it.
A colour version might be nice but I think the B&W will stay _my_ favourite.
Dollhouse Syndrome = The temptation to turn a map into a picture, obscuring the goal of the image with the appeal of cute, or simply available, parts. Maps have clarity through simplification.

Steel General- thanks! I'm so used to image linking from photobucket, it didn't even occur to me.
the preliminary rendering was done in color:
