Well, I'll go rep the people I didn't vote for. Then maybe I can rep you.

I gotta ask sometime what the blue & green reppy gems are, and how the points work. I way don't grok it.

Indeed, I asked myself what the green and blue gems are.

I think you get a green for every 100 points you have...or maybe it's for every one point you can dispense. I think blueish means you don't have any (i.e. less than 10 rep and can only give "grey" rep). I also do not grok its fullness, but will in time. I just know I got another green dot and now I dispense 2 rep.

Not sure of the "formula" for dispensing REP, but 100 points of REP is a point, every year as a member is a point, number of 1000 posts is a point, there might be a few more, not sure, I think that's it.

I dispense 12 points of REP, with every bonk. Use my REP to compare.

I might be wrong, but I think töff referred to the blue and green gems which appear on the left side of the 'Latest Reputation Received' list in the User Control Panel. Could be the blue 'sleeping' rep points? I think the blue ones are not added to the Rep.
