This map was made using Tear's magnificent "Saderan" tutorial, as is fairly evident from the look and feel of the map. I started out just playing around with and testing the various techniques in the tutorial, but as the map came together I kinda' liked the results.
I plan on making some more maps in this vein, but trying to vary things more until I find a style I can call my own. I learned quite a bit from Tear's tutorial. There's definitely some neat stuff in there for us Photoshop novices.
The font used for the labeling is called "informal roman" and I can't remember where I got it.
"Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government."

This is a beautiful map cereth. I only wish it was larger I happen to be a big fan of the hand-written style of Informal Roman (I use it myself quite often).
Congrats on a great piece of art!
