Man, sweet map! Didn't read the little story on the side yet, but I just have to say that leathery feel to the map is great! And the forests, and the mountains, and the gold lettering and details... geez. Very nice!
Note: I've been meaning to post my challenge maps into the finished map threads for quite some time .. now that the "My Finished Maps" link for the signatures works again, it reminded me.
This was my entry for the Aug/Sep lite challenge. The theme for that challenge was "GOLD!"

Currently using Photoshop CS3, GIMP, MapTool, and planning to try Inkscape, Illustrator and Wilbur "real soon now."

What a great map! The stitched leather panels, and gilded inlaid lettering are tops, as is the tweaked East India Company logo. I am enamored!
