Anyone else have this problem?

I'd finish a part of my map at the end of the day and then save it. The next day I'll reboot the computer and find things like my mountains are missing, or the buildings are missing. Whole elements of the project are just gone. I've been forced to save multiple backup files, but it doesn't always help. I'm using CC3 on a MAC with Parallels to run the Windows software. I don't know if that is the issue, or whether it is something else. Any ideas?
