    Default Just to make you jealous :P

    I am currently working on my MA thesis which looks at the local perception of colonial heritage in Kochi, Kerala, India, which has been colonised by the Portuguese, Dutch and British. Right now I am working in a very silent library consulting a recently published (and huge) Comprehensive Atlas of the Dutch East India Company vol. VI, India, Persia and the Arabian Peninsula. There are some pretty awesome maps in there

    Yeah, I envy you. Oldest thing I've got is a 1941 Atlas. Kind of freaky to look through it and see half of Europe marked 'German Reich'.

    I have the 1932 world atlas; no Israel, and Korea is part of Japan. lulz.

    So I can't really post pictures, because they're huge and because they're copyrighted. I've made maps of my own, derived from those however. You'll find theme here.
