How old is your globe ?
Interesting link I saw today about how to date a somewhat modern globe (back to at most 1939).

Have to check mine too. I do have west and east Germany(picked up the globe on second hand), that I know. But could be fun to know the exact date.
They're missing South Sudan (2011)!
