Thread: Google street view URL API.

Announced recently. An API for getting at the google street view images. It seems you can get static images into your web pages with a URL now.

This is quite interesting as I have checked that you can add these sorts of links into my ViewingDale app and they work just fine. So I can have web hotspots on a map with google street view on them ! Sometimes the URL length is larger than my apps URL edit box so I think I might have to up the amount of buffer in the next version. Otherwise this is way cool - there are plenty of old looking pubs and cottages in the UK to use as reference buildings for fantasy worlds. I am sure that any app that can put down web hot links into the map can use these.
