Not only are the materials rendered 'realistic', but the basic layout seemed to work well.

How did you get the 'oil painting' quality of the cover?
Is it a photoshop effect or something else?

You might want to post a 300 DPI letter size version of one of the plans with your opening post so people can see at a glance what your work is like.

The oil painting is done with a free piece of software called fotosketcher .
