Featured maps?
Are there any guidelines for Featured Maps? I notice that they seem to be pretty sporadic (except for the past 3 months in a row). If there are no specific guidelines, I would like to see something like this:
- One (or perhaps even two????) map(s) per month
- Featured map(s) to be drawn from the previous months postings only.
- Any featured map artist may not be featured again in any 12 month period
How does that sound to the Mods (and others)?

We've stepped up the featured map process, and have been doing them about the middle of each month...I agree that we should consider 2 a month since there's much more activity lately.
We've been pretty good about not re-featuring artists I think, and have that as an unwritten rule.
We do try to feature fairly recent maps, usually not too old, the previous month restriction wouldn't be too bad. There's an open discussion in the CL laboratory about this months map right now.
