Default The most incredible fantasy maps you've ever seen

...according to IO9. They've obviously never been here.

Okay, not to sound mean or forceful, but the lack of credit to tear in that Westeros map ****ed me off.

As for the rest, you're right. They obviously haven't looked hard.

Well, it's IO9. They don't look hard at anything. They do make a lukewarm attempt though, which is better than 90% of the other sites out there on the great wild interwebs...

Myself I'm partial to Ultima's maps. They were REAL maps that you got in your box.

I also enjoyed answering the map challenge at the beginning of U7 without looking at the map. Because by the 3rd replay, I knew most location's coordinates by heart.

Ouch. The only map there I'd take a second look at is the one of Middle Earth. As you guys have mentioned already, the vast majority of maps here are much better!
The best maps are the ones we like the most after looking at the longest.

    Word!

You might call them classics and just move on. That's what I do for most books (Dostoevsky anyone?).
