Gulp! Batten the hatches, Robbie!!!
I'm in Pensacola, fl and all prepped for the hurricane, even though I KNOW its not going to hit us...right? I really feel for those in louisiana...they've had a rough few years, and I hope it all works out without too much horrible damage...
BUT...If for some reason I dissapear for a while and gustav moved east on his track to near pensacola...the two instances are related.

I am always thankful not to live in hurricane country. Good luck to all of those who are in the path of this one.

So far things are looking great...A) We still have power, and B) We still have internet.
New Orleans thankfully is ok thus far...power outages, but no major damage reported, levees and canals still working, thats all great news.
Here in pensacola we have some rain gusts and light but fast rain as the rain bands pass over us...Its not too bad...right now its pretty calm out there. We're probably going to make an excursion to Denny's for brunch here in a few minutes![]()
