There is a project from code weavers which makes a cross over tool to run Windows programs on Linux or Macs (different versions of tool same effect).

Apparently there is a version which is targetted for games. For TODAY ONLY 28th Oct - its a freebie.

Due to high volume on site they have a text form based web site which just takes your email address and they mail a serial number which you can use later to get the item.

Being targeted at games it might make running certain apps which use graphics possible where 'Wine' might not. Dont know as I am a windowz guy primarily.
