Merry Christmas or Happy Whatever-You-Celebrate!

Had my in-laws up for the past week, been swamped with end-of-year work for a while, and had to travel for a college graduation last week SO I haven't had much time for hobbies lately. I'm actually looking forward to Christmas-to-New Years as an opportunity to get back into all of the maps (and other things) I've had to leave sitting idle for the past few weeks - be nice to have time to post something other than "welcomes" and "attaboys" here.

Merry Christmas everyone, Happy Hanukkah and that's about the limit of my knowledge of winter celebrations of world religions. Slightly pitiful but heartfelt!!!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you guys for the warm welcome to the forum. It's not very often that, in the wastelands of teh intranetz, you come across an oasis of decency and sanity like this place. So thanks!

I know I'm late, but coming from a trip with lots of palms, sand, water, and 90 degrees F... and now being thrown into a 0 degrees F environment with all that crazy Christmas madness going on around me...
