    Hey everyone!

    I'm working on making a globe and I was wondering what is the name of this projection?

    It's a different way of doing an interrupted map with the gores joined at a pole rather than along the equator. I don't know which underlying projection is being used though. I'd guess at either Sinusoidal, or maybe Transverse Mercator.

    I would say a gnomonic projectio centred on each Pole with a bit of buckminster fuller...
