    Default ArcMap to Inkscape Work Flow

    I've poked around a bit and could not find it so apologize if this has already been asked/answered. But what is the workflow to get something from ArcMap to Inkscape so that all the layers line up? I 've tried exporting to pdf and Inkscape crashes. Read somewhere on here that this is an ArcMap export issue maybe? So should I export layer by layer from ArcmMap to svg or something like that and then align in Inkscape somehow?
