How do I stack multiple similar floor plan levels?

Hi, I'm creating some floor plans for a friend of mine. They have a the same basic shape and layout and I want to stack them but don't have a clue how to do this. I intend to create the basic levels in Dundjinni (using the Classic art pack) and then export to a PNG and import into PS to 'fancy' it up a bit. any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

I am not too sure what you mean by "stacking" the levels. If you mean display them one above the other, I don't think it will work because of the various details on each level interfering with the others. If the levels were not transparent then you would only see the top level. If you mean to display the levels separately but positioned one above the other (from top to bottom for example) then it is just a matter of placing them on a PS document in descending order and adding the appropriate text for each level beside it. You could even do this after beautyfying each level in their own PS file.

This is what I meant - kind of. I guess I'm trying to create a sort of isometric, exploded view of the building as a whole with the floor plan for each level shown individually, rather than just 'layering' each floor plan one above the other as a 'flat' plan view. Does that make sense?

Yup it does. I would suggest "fancying" each level in its own file first and then apply an isometric "tilt" to them (just make sure that you use the same angle). I do not know PS so I can't tell you how that would be done, but I think it would be obvious when you see it in the menus. Once you have that, place them in the same PS file for lining up as I described above. You might have to fiddle with the views a bit to show some lf the walls if that is where you want to go...

Thanks Korash I'll give that a try. The mate that sent me the maps did so as PNG files that he created so I'm opening them in PS and trying to give them that 'old school' feel - a bit like the maps in Goodmans DCCRPG range (without the great art) as individual files. When I'm happy with each (from memory there are 4 different ones but 7 floors) I'll try and combine them as you suggest. I'll start a WIP thread once I get the basement done and each floor.
