Post Need Fantasy Maps for Table Top Fantasy RPG Book

    Hello everybody!

We’re working on a fantasy setting/expansion for our d20 based table top RPG system, Universal Decay, called Dragonfire and need some high quality old-world style fantasy maps.

We’re going to need around six grayscale/black and white maps – one world map and five smaller regional maps. The largest map (the world map) will need to fit within a single 8.5 x 11” page while the regional ones will be quarter-page illustrations. They will be used in both printed and digitally distributed publications. Our writer has drawn a simplified version of each map using MS Paint as a guide (see below for an example).

The maps will be used in a commercial product so we’d definitely need reproduction rights; we’d like the option of using the images in future products, advertisement, etc. Getting the copyrights would be ideal. We try to be very accommodating with the freelance artists we hire so we can work out the exact arrangements of ownership prior to commissioning the piece(s).

There is no real deadline, release date or schedule per say, but once a commission is made we like to at least receive updates from the artist once a month. Ideally, it shouldn't take longer than a month per map (or two in the case of the larger one). Payments can be made via PayPal or personal check. Please bear in mind we’re a very small hobby business so our budget isn’t that big.

    Thanks!
