September/ October Challenge Entry: NYC Cyber Dream
I made this quickly with a scan and a couple of filters. Looking to capture that frenetic, NY city vibe. Maybe I could do something with it?

My thought was "airline pilot on acid". Very cool.
Actually that font reminds me of the film "Escape from New York" - coincidence?
I think Mordizer nailed it with the CyberPunk reference...

I think I might just clean it up a bit and overlay some 0 and 1 s and call it done as quick and dirty addition to the mix.

Yeah it's pretty cool for a speed map. Maybe we should all do a speed map in addition to a "main entry" one. Not that I'm saying we should throw up trashy looking maps but in the case of this one I think there is a certain interestingness to it that makes it worthwhile.

I think this is pretty cool looking. I don't think messing around with it will make it any better. So let's call it done.

TRON!!!..oh thats a whole other thing..I've been racking my brain for a week trying to come up with something for this challenge. THIS is why I don't climb up with the big boys..

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
