This is SO good. I love it AND its going in my "Inspiration folder"
Some minor updates I thought to save to CG. I played a little bit with the witchstar colour and yanked my hair out to fill in text. Tried to create a metallic effect like very fine brushed metal but came out to grainy. THX for the effort, try againHave fun.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

One correction: "my whole live" should be "my whole life".
This is a brilliant map Troedel, absolutely fantastic. In addition to the typo pointed out by rdanhenry, I found a couple more. "Analysation of resonance" should be spelled "Analyzation", and "+++ continous" should be "continuous".
English spelling never was one of my strong points.. THX for pointing out the mistakes.
Why not? It's just like German, except a lot less consistent.Comes from stealing words from every language that came within groping distance.

Assuming I stick with fantasy cartography, I'd like to become a World Builder, laying out not only a realistic topography, but also the geopolitical boundaries and at least rough descriptions of the countries and societies.
It's never been one of English's strong points either.
