No worries mate. Keep it the way it is. Looks like a great start. :)
O.k. Cleared everything up with Jtougas and have got a clear mind again. I went for the starfield tonight. I aimed for an eerie feeling, some foreboding. My survey will be more of a spooky kind, perhaps thinking of Aliens or Call of Cthulhu. We will see how I fit my original picture with this theme. It´s funy and I should not forget that it´s about mapping. Else I will end up with just a spooky picture ;)

How did you do that?
Really liking the colors here so far. The only thing, and it is a nit-pick of sorts, would like to see a bit more of the planet rather than leaving so much of it in shadows, but will also have to wait and see how you progress with this as the shadowing may serve a specific purpose that has yet to be revealed. Either way, a nice start and looking forward to more.

That is awesome. I love the overlay (I wish I had thought of that.) :)
That definitely helps. Gives some shape to the shadowed area and, again, done in a complimentary color that isn't too harsh.
