This time a smaller project for the challenge...
What I want to do:
a handdrawn-looking-map
- Inkscape only, no additional rework in a raster program
- max five hours of work
90 mins used up for:
- having the idea
- creating the basic shape of the cave
- toying around with filters
Ideas and suggestions are welcome...

Inkscape goes hell on the CPU when using a few filters - there is a reason, why one normally uses multiple programs. I see the challenges here as an interesting opportunity to look into software functions I have not used much till now...
Anyway, after another 45 minutes - which takes me to a total of 3.25 hours on that map this is the

Nice job. A couple years ago, we had a 'timed map challenge' with a 4 hour window to create the full final map. So your practice to meet a specified maximum time is not an unheard of mapping goal.

It was a little of self protection - my last project ate just too much time...
Great map, the tan background looks a lot better than the pinkish one did. Interesting little backstory rounds it out nicely.
