I love 3d. Although, it looks like you rendered this in a top down orthographical view. Try a top down perspective view to give it some depth. The shadows betray a little of the 3d, but the lack of perspective hurts that feeling a little.

I tried a top-down perspective first, like this ...

But the 'perspective' didn't really show up too well and made adding the weighted lines much harder.
I also thought about displaying it as a real two-point perspective, like this ...

(I was once told that the color I had selected for a presentation "makes my eyes bleed" :oops: ).
So, which looks better?

I like the color, but think it is a little pale. Just making it 33% darker seems to make it stand out better.

Nice! I really like the rustic look.

I actually really liked the look of the top down 3d perspective view. Much more convincing. Also agree on the make it darker approach.
