February 2012 Entry: Ticket to Horror
I'm going to do a reworking of a game I like very much: Ticket to Ride. It's a fun, simple to learn, but fiendishly addictive and tense game. It's basically a race against the other players to travel on various railways. I'm going to take the basic premise (based on app. 1900s USA and Europe) and adapt it to a horror theme ...
Also it's a useful challenge, since I've been promising a friend I'd do a reworking of this game for, oh, I dunno ... about 2 or 3 years?

Pity you didn't do this last year! Days of Wonder were offering a $10,000 prize for a new ticket to ride board design in a competition!

Honestly I should retitle the thread to: Ticket to Hell or something ... I decided Dante's Inferno offered a prettier place to map for a board game than random horror trivia
