March/April 2012 Lite Challenge Winner - Octopod's Lostwater Caves
Octopod's rorschachian karstic caves have won the March/April 2012 Lite Challenge.
New member Octopod convinced an absolute majority that caves are a fun and interesting topic for mapping and he fully deserves his shiny silver compass. Octopod has said that it may reflect something about his personality, that went with such a spelunkerous theme. Whether it reflects something dark and chthonic or not, the map is definitely worth a look, as are all the other challenge entries.

I didn't qualify for the River Police, so I became the Tectonics Vigilante.
Wow! Break out the caving gear! I can see how this approach leads to a different type of adventure where ropes and ladders become important tools until other entrances are discovered. The spelunking theme is very cool.
