The generation of the height map, the 3D projection and the shading (lighting + ambient occlusion) was done in Wilbur. The colors, text, and other finishing were done in Photoshop.
Looking great so far! Every time I see something you produced in Wilbur, I'm inspired to try my hand at it again.
Well that's going into my list of favorites.
Speaking for myself and I am sure for others;Wilbur can be a REAL mouthful to chew on !For myself I am very interested on the steps you took to transform that cloud pict. Some time in the future IF time permits could you post a step by step tutorial on just what you did to get the terrain from this cloud pict. For me that would be a narrower portion to chew on ! PLEASE !!

The technique is the same as shown inexcept that you just load the cloud image rather than using coast and mountain masks. You can mask a coast mask from the cloud image directly in Wilbur by using Select>>From Terrain>>Height Range and then saving the selection.
