    Wip July 2012 Entry: Shrouded Valley

    So I know Im uber late on this because I jsut started it like right now... akak 10 mins ago and this is the prelim sketch the idea is to use the real clouds and draw mountains coming out of them and then do some buildings on the peaks with trails leading to them... I hope it goes well we shall see I dont have much time to get it in, so I shall hussle this one... its midnight now though so I shall go to be and commence in the morn.

    Interesting idea, and I like the perspective. I'm interested to see how far along this can get before the contest closes.

    Though with the sun behind your mountains like that, seems like everything you see would be in shadow from the back-lighting....

    ^_^ thanks for the input, its not the sun though its the moon, and with the clouds that I plan on setting as the base there whill be plenty of "ambient" light

    So I woke up this morning, and realized i bit off more then I can chew in my time frame... so I adjusted the composition....

    I really like what you have so far. It's a very cool concept. I can't wait to see the finished idea... sometimes the best work comes from people on a tight deadline.

    Complete: my girlfriend is telling me i need to get back to work, so I wrapped it up quick... I wish I had more time so I could of done a more "traditional" map but I am happy with the out come. Now I need to find where to submit it!
