September 2012 Entry: Sunset Tower

This is actually my third attempt to start something for this challenge. At first I did a fantasy mine and mushroom cave (I still might finish that one), then I attempted a derelict ship. In the end I decided to try something completely different. I don't do much sci-fi or modern stuff so I thought I'd give it a try.

This is based on a short adventure I wrote but never used for a sci-fantasy setting I created. I use heavily modified shadowrun rules to run it. The adventure focused on recovering an old power core from a derelict power installation.

The sketchy notes and stuff will get cleaned up/redrawn eventually.

Loved the sky and the birds! The building itself is pretty cool too. Just one question, the building is on the coast? It yes it would be nice some waves, or other stuff :D Great job!

This is looking ubercool, the gradient sky and the black silhouette conjure up a great atmosphere that really sets the scene. Beautiful!

Carbus: It's an outcrop in some rocky hills. There isn't even a proper road that goes to it anymore. I did consider the coast but thought I didn't want to deviate hugely from my adventure description incase I do end up running it at some point.

Nice. Somehow I fell reminded of the old Clonk Planet "Hazard Scenario"...

Its realy looking nice so far, cant wait to see more details.

Not really sure what else to do. Sci-fi maps aren't really my thing. Something with the overall canvas maybe. I dunno. I'll probably make a few tweaks at the least though.
