Wip August/September 2014 Lite Challenge: Blobson Falls National Park

Playing around with the new OpenCanvas 6.0 trial... so far, I like the program, even if it's more limiting than Photoshop.

Anyway, here's my WIP for the Blobson Falls National Park map. I just kind of uploaded where I left off for the night... still not done with the mountains. I should mention that I was too lazy to export the original file to a JPG so I just 'snipped' the image. That's why the map is so blurry and small. But, the final version will be larger with more details.

    Oooh, pretty
I like the sheen the lake gets from the colours around it.

Hahaha, thanks! Although, the lake was an accident... I just haven't erased the land color out of the water area yet. Buuuuuut, I guess if it looks good... *shifty eyes*

Maybe make a copy, remove the land colour out of the lake, and then try comparing It's a tedious and possibly unrewarding process, but hey! Got to experiment!
