Thread: Aug/Sep Lite Entry - City of Gold

I'm pretty happy with the end result, even I know I could have done a better version with more time & right software. But the reality is that you can't always get what you want. This time I had a strict schedule because of personal issues (that might affect my future post also). I can't guarantee I can keep posting these maps with the same rate as before, but I do still plan to post few maps from time to time. It would have been nice if there had been more participants on this challenge, but as the quality of maps is quite nice already, I shoudn't complain. Good work everyne!

Decided to give the map a minor facelift.

If you don't mind me offering my honest opinion, I prefer the previous version.
I think you had found the perfect balance of gloomy-old-scratchy-darkness-colors right there.
It's just a matter of personal taste, of course.
