I would second Mazrims addendum and voted 'no' on the suggestion, as per the same thought...
If its for technically bad maps then yay, but if its for just badly drawn maps, nay. I would love to learn about what is 'impossible' so this would be a good learning experience.
As has been stated before......A good looking map done as by someone with no clue of how geography works....much like the earlier maps from the Romans or even middle-ages
Perhaps an interesting twist might be to start with something apparently impossible, then make a map based on justifying it somehow other than "magic did it."
Of course, that sounds like a completely different challenge. I think this is a good idea, but it has to be presented carefully to avoid a flood of no effort maps.
