Ok. I'm up for it, drawing rivers is one of the best phases of map building imo
Yes! I'm rollin' on the river...
No! Don't want to get my feet wet...
Here's an idea: the River Police Challenge - create a map with complex river systems, the emphasis will be on rivers, lakes, deltas, wetlands. Since the River Police is always Watching... extra care must be taken to be geologically correct. However, including multiple or very long/large islands and other river anamolies could certainly be included.
This would be a regional map, and whatever genre or required placements of villages and towns is up to you. This is a map of rivers.
Thoughts?

I like it.
Seems like a good idea, and a good way for those not so knowledgeable on the subject (like I was for a long time, and still am in oh so many ways) to learn a thing or three.

For me, the only thing more tedious than rivers is naming stuff. But since this would be used much like a "users guide to rivers" I'm all for it. I'm also wondering if this could be rolled into the once-proposed tutorial challenge...thus ending up with a tutorial for rivers challenge thingy. Well, maybe not, but I'll probably be doing mine that way.

I'd love to see this just for the influx of river-drawing tutorials; it's something I can't get to look right.
