    My subscription to the hexmapper-haven mail list dropped me a link to BusyGameMaster where I came across a nice set of icons made for use in Inkscape:

    As an addendum, the site states this license:
    "Goblyn Geomorphs & Map Icons by Gregory B. MacKenzie is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. "
