mountain test styles

I'm testing out various styles of mountains for a map I'm making...version g are map vandal's mountains which I've saved as a brush.

It's still early days, but I'm hoping to improve them.

If you're asking for opinions, I prefer e, then c, d, f, a. I don't very much like b (though it's very short, so maybe if it were as long as the others I'd get a better impression), and g looks kindof odd, especially with the overlaps being much darker - maybe a different blend mode on your brush?

I like C and E best.
G and F I don't like... the others are "mweh"

Thanks guys, sorry forgot to say, yes please lots of opinions, and any suggestions to improve them.

My preferences are 'b' & 'e' - to me they have the most "it factor" (whatever it is).

A, B and G are too small to see, C and D look pretty good, E looks like the most time consuming, and F needs a lil more hatching/shadowing. I like this as a good worksheet to practice drawing mountains, mine always look the same no matter what style I try to emulate. Maybe someone could compile a big list of mountain styles and we could all practice drawing them :) hint hint.

I really like the style of E. What technique do you use to get it?

I've been struggling with mountains for a while now and haven't been able to produce something I'm happy with.

My favorite was C. I like detail.

E is my favorite, but it also looks like it would be HARD lol. Next I'd probably pick C.
