I've been lurking around here for a while (as you can see *g*), but I've finally made the step into participation. ;)
I'm mostly working on one particular fantasy 'verse (it doesn't really have a name, since I'm not writing in it (yet?)), and on the planet Katarka ([ka-'tar-ka]) in particular. I'm not what you'd call the most artistic soul (since I'm a writer, really), but I want to have visuals for my 'verse because I have terrible visual memory and I don't want to end up with a case of the amazing disappearing islands or something like that. :sad:

Oh, I can empathise with you, CDN. I am a writer too and all I wanted was to draw a map for my novel. Now I'm drawing maps and wish to find the time for writing again. *grins*
