Hello World..

Hi,

I'm 28 years old and I'm living in the south of Germany working as a teamleader for a group of programers.

How did I found the Guild:
A friend and I want to create our own roleplaygame such Dungeons and Dragons, Shadowrun ... So we are also trying to create our own map.
Unfortunately both are no born designer :) Because of this I tried several tools and in addition the tutorials.

In the last days I found some maps here which are really(!) great!
Now I'm interestes how you creat such maps, how long it takes and if everybody would be able to do this :)

Sad that I'm not able to write PM's. Hopefully I find out why.

Hi Yosh, and welcome to the guild!

You need to have at least 5 posts before you can send PMs (it's an anti-spam thing). The time it takes to draw maps varies a lot depending on how familiar you are with the process, and the type of map you are drawing, how much detail etc. If you would like to learn how we draw our maps, the tutorial section has pretty much everything you need to know to get started.

Because of the thing that I'm not really familiar with the process with gimp, PS or something else it should be not the problem to get 5 Posts :P
I already see a lot of amazing tutorials and maps!
As far as I know I always measure me with the best :)

Yes. I was born in Austria / Tirol. Thats south of south Germany :P
