Hi!
My name ist Dark Umbra and I´m from a little town quite in the middle of Germany.
I got to know the Cartographer´s Guild on deviantART and I´m a newcomer to the fantasy-cartography, well, with regard to the digital sector.
I just created a fantasy world for a RPG, I lead... Not really good, I think.
I think that I´m going to work through the tutorials and to find out more about mapping.
It´s my aim to create a pretty good map for my project - a fantasy novel... but I know I have to learn so much and to improve myself before this project can be realized.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
