New to Forum
Good morning...I should be working right now (shhh, don't tell).
My name is Izzybaz (well, that's my handle, anyway). I have long been interested in mapping. Making maps relaxes me more than almost any other hobby that I have. I have hand drawn maps and have dabbled in digital maps. Software I've used in the past: AutoRealm (won't work on my new laptop), Photoshop CS1 (on my Mac) and Gimp (on my new laptop). I'm very...VERY new at Gimp. Currently I'm enjoying going through some of the many tutorials on this site. I hope I can contribute soon!

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
