Thread: Greetings

Hello everyone =]

My name is Michael. I found this place while looking for fantasy map icons through google, and thought I'd join up. Rumor has it you guys are friendly =]

I'm working on a fantasy story that's been brewing and rolling around in my head for the better part of a year, and I figured it would be a LOT easier to make a map of the place first, so I don't get my wires crossed and get the place names decided on FIRST, that way I don't have to stop mid-writing to try and come up with something for a half hour, only to forget the name 5 minutes later.

I myself am an Asatruar, first and foremost. Everything else besides that is trivial at best.

So, just out of curiousity, are there any decent places where I can get free map icons for nature places? I was specifically looking for something I could use to denote a swamp.
