hi there, welcome to the guild. Best place on the interwebs for maps indeed![]()
'ey all.
I'm a conlanger and conworlder, thus far more emphasizing the -lang part of that than the -world. I've been posting for a number of years over at the Zompist BB under the same name, but I thought this forum would be a good one to join for learning how to make maps properly. I've been working on a conworld meticulously for quite a few years now, but I don't have a whole lot in a state that I feel is presentable yet, and I'm hoping to change that. Getting some good maps done seems a good way to start. So, hello all!

Yep, welcome aboard, have fun. I know we had some conlang threads going at one time around here.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
