    I am a new member Funkyboy7

    I have made a few maps using MSP and have recently started using GIMP to make maps

    i found the site about a month back when i was googling for tips on maps, and it lead me here, but today was the day i decide to join

    i hope to learn a lot more from you all

    Welcome to the Guild There are a lot of us who use GIMP so there are plenty of resources to help you.

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
