    Post New member, new to mapping

    I am a new member of this site and relatively new to digital mapping. I have been a wargamer/role-player for over 30 years(!) and am looking to master new ways of detailing the settings for campaigns in both hobbies. I am currently trying to beat Fractal Mapper 8.2c into submission with limited success. I am also playing around with Campaign Cartographer 3 with even less success.

    Welcome to the Guild! Just about all of the software has a somewhat steep learning curve; hang in there and you'll grow to love it. There are some folks around here who do some amazing stuff with FM and CC
