    Default Hi folks!

    I ran across your site while researching what mapping software to get. (Leaning toward CC3 + DD3 since Dundjinni seems hard to get my hands on.) I played a ton of D&D back in the late 70s and 80s, but then didn't play much for a long time while I got married and had kids. But now my son has hit that age where I can enjoy it all over again as he starts playing. I'm loving it!

    So I'm back to DM'ing and am looking forward to learning a lot from you guys about making some awesome maps!

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

    Welcome Ron! I recently joined the guild as well. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you. I started playing the game when the basic set first came out. Now that I have a wife and kids its not so easy to find a gaming group anymore so I get my RPG fix by creating content now.
