    Default Greetings from Alaska!

    Hello my name is Erik and I live in Wasilla Alaska. I am currently working on a D&D campaign and am doodling with different software for my maps. I have used Hexographer, GIMP, CC3, and Fractal Mapper in the past. Still experimenting with different software, but should have a map available soon. Look forward to making friends here!

    Welcome to the Guild. I spent a few years in Unalaska I loved it and hope to retire there..

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

    Love the avatar - isn't that the bad dude from Big Trouble in Little China? Cool flick; I loved the lightning guy. Can you see Russia from your back yard? Whatsherface says so but I highly doubt it...always wondered. Anyway, welcome.

    Yes it is. His name in the movie is Lo Pan, love that movie. Can't see Russia but there are Russian people that live here.
