    Default Hello from Moon Design Publications

    Hi there! My name is Jeff Richard, the Line Editor for Moon Design Publications. We are the publisher of HeroQuest (the RPG, not the board game) and Greg Stafford's Glorantha. We commission a fair number of maps for each book we do and are always looking for new cartographers. Our art director, Simon Bray, has already shown me some wonderful stuff from the various artists of the Cartographers' Guild. Our website has some examples of some of the maps we've commissioned for recent books (for example, this page).

    Welcome to the Guild! You have some really gorgeous artwork on your site. How odd, I've just been looking at the mongoose forums and saw Gillian Pierce's maps there too! I love her work.

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
