Hello everyone!
First of all - sorry for my english (not native speaker), I hope to be generaly understandable : )
Well... I registered long time ago and short after this my PC motherboard burned, then new job and some other events turn me far from fantasy maps. But not forever!
Here, guys, you have some realy fantastic artwork and very interesting discussions. This is great. Personaly I'm humble amateur in fantasy carthography, mostly drawing as DM in RPG games just for players (friends). But in one moment map-making become some kind of little hobby and passion. New and new strange continens spawned by my hand : )
Finaly, I'm glad to find some other people with shared interests.
P.S. As pass fee to your community, I want to show some of my works (unfortunatly never completed).

Welcome, Were very glad to have you at the guild. Those are some nice images you posted. They look like they took quite a long time to produce. We have a members map if you want to put Novosibirsk on it - see the community menu link or the one in my signature.

Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.
