    Hello boys and girls.

    I am a French gamer for twenty years and have always loved maps, especially the old ones. I draw and I use Photoshop as an amateur. I also write recently and I want to create a map of the country and the capital of my history (Dark Fantasy). Sorry for my English is bad ...

    Even if I am correct, I would still advise you to follow your heart. This whole Cartographers Guild thing, it seems to me, is more about passion and skill and learning new techniques than it is about definitions and rules.

    Welcome! I live in LaSalle County, Illinois - thus named after a French explorer who was here 334 years ago. Of course our local French isn't very good, consider the next town over from me is Marseilles, Illinois, but all the locals pronounce it "Mar-Sales"! Hah.
